

Alexis Rae
Alexis is an intern counselor in her final year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Wake Forest University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Alexis has a deep passion for counseling, especially with children, adolescents, and young adults.

She provides individual and group counseling for adults, adolescents, and children, with a primary focus on person-centered therapy. Alexis believes in the inherent potential of every individual and strives to create a supportive, empathetic environment where clients feel safe and accepted without judgment.

While grounded in person-centered therapy, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalized counseling experience that fosters personal growth and well-being.

Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, attachment, and relationships. Alexis is dedicated to supporting her clients every step of the way on their journey to healing.
