Julie Hannay
M.A.

Julie Hannay is currently a Resident in Counseling, with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She works with parents from postpartum and beyond and children from preschool to tweens.  She is currently working towards her certification in Child Centered Play Therapy through the Play Strong Institute.  She utilizes Child Centered Play Therapy, Relational Neuroscience, Expressive Arts Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help children and parents move towards expressing their deepest needs in ways that invite more connection in their relationships and more joy in their life.  She works with anxiety, depression, grief, divorce, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, Autism and other developmental differences that are impacting relationships with self and with others.

About Me

Julie works with children using the language of play, allowing children to process their inner experiences.

 

Julie also works with parents in the perinatal period and other family life transitions both expected and unexpected, welcome and unwelcome.
